HBO Max and Cartoon Network have ordered a new project from Emmy-award winning creator and animator Genndy Tartakovsky. Tartakovsky is known for creating beloved animated shows like “Dexter’s Laboratory,” “Samurai Jack,” “Primal,” and “Sym-Bionic Titan.” He also directed the original “Star Wars: Clone Wars” series. Willems is executive producing alongside Silverman and Judah. Animation, will oversee day-to-day creative affairs of the series. The heroes must navigate the emotional ups and downs of teenagers while protecting the world from its ultimate demise.

The first season premiered in October 2019 on Adult Swim, and won several Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation, for several Tartakovsky, art director Scott Wills, and character designer Stephen DeStefano.
