I’ve owned the Behringer also, very nice for the $$ and gets close to the FZ-2 but it’s a little less clear/murkier sounding. The FZ-2 is indeed Boss' (relatively) newer take on the Shin Ei Super Fuzz, but the newer variation of the circuit in the FZ-2 doesn't sound the same as the original Shin Ei and the Univox. I could use another fuzz for stacking with my Muff, but I also need a drive.
